Calling all Future #GensFamily members, the Northeast Generals will host their Main Camp from June 26-28 at the Canton Ice House.
The opportunity to showcase your talents at the NAHL level is an exclusive one for the Northeast Generals. The Northeast Generals Main Camp is the ONLY camp the organization offers, and it recruits its future team primarily from the attendees.
21 players currently on the 2025-26 Generals team attended Main Camp last summer, and numerous key players have made their mark, including current captain Cole McKenna and past captain Matt DeSpirit. Additionally, the Northeast Generals have already tendered five main camp invitees from last year’s camp ahead of the 2026-27 season. The players came to camp, impressed our staff, and built a relationship that resulted in a tender for the upcoming season.
“I love Main Camp, we get great hockey players and people in our building competing to be Generals. It’s so hard with the number of camps out there. Parents and players’ heads spin at the number of offers they have to spend their money on. We take our role in the tryout process very seriously. People spend good money and travel far distances for a chance to make the Northeast Generals. So we make sure we give every camper a phenomenal experience both on and off the ice. We want players excited to compete, knowing they will get honest feedback about their performance. Indeed, many players attending Main Camp won’t make the team, but that doesn’t mean the relationship at camp that is formed won’t benefit both the team and the player. It opens up a dialogue about the upcoming season and future seasons,” said Head Coach and GM Bryan Erikson
All attendees of the Northeast Generals Main Camp are guaranteed to play 5 games throughout the three-day event. They will all receive their camp jersey and be provided with individual feedback from the coaching and scouting staff members. In all, there will be 12 evaluators at Camp.
The cost for the three-day showcase is $595
