The Northeast Generals have tendered four players to join the organization, with their potential debuts eyed for the 2026-27 season.

Joining the #GensFamily are forwards Jack Messick and Erion Milla, along with defensemen Anthony Pomarico and Kyle Moyer.

“We are extremely excited to bring these four young men into the family. With Anthony’s top-end 1-on-1 defending, Erion’s combination of size and skill, Jack’s elite brain, and Kyle’s ability to create offense from the back end, we have positioned ourselves to reload our lineup after the departure of our 20-year-olds at the end of this season,” said Generals Director of Scouting, Eric Welles. “We believe all four of these guys will be contributors from day one next year. As with all players making the transition to junior, they will need to adapt to the speed of the game and make timely decisions. However, everything we have seen over the last year tells us that they will be able to make that adjustment, allowing their individual strengths to shine and contribute to the success of the Generals”, Welles added.

Pomarico is potentially the most familiar name to the current Generals’ fanbase. The 2007-born defenseman was a part of the Generals’ main camp this season, where he also took part in one pre-season game before being sent back to his USHS-Prep school ranks with the Winchendon School. Pomarico is also the lone player of the four who was drafted by the Generals, being selected 277th overall in this past summer’s NAHL draft.

From Brentwood, NH, Pomarico secured 15 points in 31 games last year at Winchendon. This year, the 6’0 blueliner has split his time between Winchendon, where he has a goal in four games, but most of which with the Islanders Hockey Club Prep East, as well as his offensive production with 10 points (3g-7a) in 17 games.

Messick is the youngest of the four tenders.

A 2009-birth-year forward already listed at 6’0, 165 lbs, he clearly has the size and skill to grow into a very effective junior hockey player. Being only 16 years old, Messick still maintains his 16U AAA eligibility, where he has 21 points in 24 games with the Washington Little Caps program. In addition, he has jumped up to the 18U AAA level for a pair of games, adding a goal and an assist, as well as recording 9 goals in just 2 games with Potomac Falls/Westfield in Virginia’s high school circuit.

The NAHL will be a very large test; however, Messick has produced at an elite level every step of his youth career.

Erion Milla, a late 2007 birth-year forward, will turn 18 years old on December 19th.

His size already leaps off the page at 6’2, 201 lbs. With a prototypical power-forward build, Milla has also proven to be an offensive handful with his dominating 16U AAA season in 2023-24, where he accumulated 74 points in 70 games. The New York native then split last season between prep school and the 18U AAA ranks. He picked up 10 points (4g-6a) in 18 games with the Holy Name Bears 18U AAA program while adding another 19 points (4g-15a) in 30 games with Berkshire School.

This year, he remains at Berkshire School with four games played.

Finally, family connections will remain in the Generals’ organization and extend their #GensFamily tenure.

Kyle Moyer, the younger brother of current General Kody, rounds out the recent tenders.

As mentioned by Welles, Kyle Moyer, a 2008-born defenseman, excels on the offensive side of his game. His elite vision and playmaking ability have him leading his entire Fox Motors 18U AAA program with 36 points (12g-24a) in 31 games, doing so as a blueliner. This should not come as a surprise, however, with 104 points in 62 games in 14U, followed by 51 points in 16U. Moyer was also named First-Team All-State in Michigan’s USHS-Div 3 in 2023-24.

While Kyle leads his team in points, older brother Kody and his 27 points in 28 games is currently doing the same with the Generals.

“As a scouting staff, we spent a lot of time watching them develop over the last 12-15 months. There were many in-person viewings, video breakdowns, and meetings with both the staff and the athletes themselves, as well as their families. After having the opportunity to have conversations with these players, their coaches, and their families, we found that they would all be excellent fits in our organization. These are all men of indelible character and will make not only our on-ice performance, but also our locker room, better. We are incredibly excited to see the impact that they can make for the Generals, and to help them develop towards their ultimate goal of playing college hockey,” Welles concluded.

The Northeast Generals and the Town of Canton would like to welcome Kyle, Anthony, Erion, and Jack to the community and organization.
